May/early June Swim Practice:
Afternoon swim team practice begins in early May, while school is still in session. It can be a little chilly, so swimmers need to be properly dressed for dryland workouts: T-shirts, shorts, sneakers, hoodies/sweatsuits, towels & swim suits. NO FLIP FLOPS.
May/early June practice times are as follows:
Ages 11 & up: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Ages 7-10: 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Ages 6 and under: 6:00 pm – 6:30 pm
After school ends:
On the day following the last day of school, regular swim practice begins and continues until the end of swim team season. Morning and afternoon practice sessions are available. Swimmers only need to attend one practice session per day.
Morning Practice Schedule*:
Ages 7-10: 9 am – 10 am
Ages 11 and up: 10 am – 11 am
Ages 6 and under: 10 am – 10:30 am
Ages 7 and up: 5 pm – 6 pm
Ages 6 and under: 6pm – 6:30 pm
* On Wednesdays, following swim meets, there will be one combined morning practice at 10:00 am. Afternoon practice will be at the regularly scheduled time.
